Excellent advice. Perhaps the best I have seen online on this subject.
The hardpart of being a freelancer is getting paid on a regular basis.
Having done this for 15 years, I can tell you I write for various publications-some smaller, some bigger-just to keep steady or near steady checks flowing.
This economy hasn’t helped either.
I was doing just fine writing for magazines when the economy dipped and cost me moneys I could gotten from continued mag work.
I still haven’t recovered yet.

Ray Bradbury, according to a show I used to watch, wrote in a giant mess of weird brick-a-brack and nick knacks. He said it helped him come up with ideas to be surronded by little statues and novelty items.
Different strokes, eh?
Great vid!
